Protest Camps’ Patrick McCurdy interviewed by CBC Radio on Occupy Ottawa

Patrick McCurdy of the Protest Camps Research Collective speaks with the CBC Radio about media frames, activist strategy, social media and police surveillance around the Occupy Movement in Ottawa and around the world. Dr. McCurdy discusses how the absence of a single message doesn’t mean that activists are confused or without a cause. When there are multiple problems, there are multiple demands–but all can be linked back to the state of global capitalism. [youtube=]
